Um, no, parents are not choosing what munificent of babies to have as far as "designer babies" where on earth you choose hair and eye color, etc. There is no such entry as "genetically modified babies" at this point in time.

What can be done is identify if certain embryos hold genetic conditions like Downs Syndrome, etc. and choose not to set in those embryos.
